two feet forward, is part of an experimental work of the artist that has taken her through grieving and grounding practices, with the use of sandbags in close contact with her body. It deals with weight, endurance, the desire to move or not forward, and the deep acknowledgment of our feet touching the ground. The title also references the US measuring system, which has been reverberating this conception of the own feet – that carolina, raised in metric, has had to embody while living here in New York.
